While writing Daddy Issues, a Memoir, I cried. I yelled. I screamed. I laughed. I broke down. I tossed and turned. You name it I felt it, whether I wanted to or not. When Daddy Issues was done, so was I. I was done with the anger, which held me back from being who and what I truly was and from what God and the goddesses intended for me to be. But my healing didn't stop there. It continues every day through writing. Writing daily has become such a huge part of who I am and ultimately what I deem to become.
Now, every day, I write. Even if I only write three sentences, I write to capture who I am in that moment. I am honest, in that moment. No matter what comes, whether it's beautiful and lovely, or ugly and embarrassing. I capture who I am in that moment. Why, because as women the first thing we lose is ourselves.
MYThyme is your space to find inspiration. Write your truth. Share if you choose or just keep for yourself. As a MYThyme writer, the canvas is your promise, through writing, to never lose who. you. are.
